@irishembassyberlin is hosting Irish women writers Sara Baume, Audrey Mc Gee, Lisa Mc Inerney, Eimear Mc Bride, Julia Kelly, Louise O’Neill for St. Brigid’s day. I wish I was there in my second Heimat to hear them. Sara Baume is one of my favourite writers and she likes real birds. Her latest novel is A line made by walking, is a winning take on depression. Audrey Mc Gee’s novel, Undertaking is a good read too and the others you’ve surely heard about.
